My computer clean-ups involve scraping all the shit on my desktop into a "shit archive" folder. Currently I have about 5 or 6 of these shit archive folders... I know someday I am going to need to sort through all of them...


I have NWN2 as a legit copy, though Ive never evar played it before
So you'd have to bear with my newbness. Though i usually dominate most games pretty quickly anyway

I do exactly the same thing, but generally I make a folder with subfolders called Pictures, Docs, Video etc. and just dump all randoms in there. I have to sort it out as well *grief*

My nightmare truly is my music folder, because it means going through each Mp3 and encoding it in my format. Batch runs through winamp etc help, but I still have to rename everything. Gods...

Actually I just played a small part of NWN2 and it left a sour taste in my mouth, like stale semen. It was buggy and was actually quite gay. IMHO I think we'd be better of doing a NWN1 lan. It has much richer content, even if its graphics aren't as good. I have the platinum edition on legit CD, and I have read up and apparently NWN2 sucks on LAN. NWN1 has some charm to it, plus I know exactly what I am doing in the toolset (well, all but scripting) if we ever want to bust out on a home-made module.
Plus I've been itching to play NWN for a while, and doing it LAN would be twice as good.

I'm good whenever, probably evenings unless I have some time to myself during the day. Let me know, and don't mind saying if you don't want to play NWN, I don't mind what you want to play (except just maybe AOE because I suck at it and I will lose).

I don't mind playing anything really, NWN would be fun.. I just need that CD of yours...
AOE would be cool too- we don't necessarily need to kill eachother, trying to survive as a pair against 6 AI players on expert is pretty darn fun

Whenever I rebuild my computer I just backup my /home/kvsari directory. Then I unmount the extra HD that my /home directory is on, rebuild the machine and set the mountpoint for my /home directory back to the HD.

When I get a new computer I will make sure it has two hard drives. One for /home and the other for the rest. Makes backing up stuff very easy. Only problem is I tend to forget my xorg.conf file and have to dick around in console for a day or two setting up video the way I like.

Thats a linux thing I'm assuming?
