I might have a whack at making a unique theme for this forum based on the concepts of the game. I spose this will have to come later after more concept art is done...

I've actually done a few things. Nothing major, just more badass armor.

I wish I had done more shit, but I really haven't.

I have (x) amount of TAFE work to do today and over the next week or so.

If I can find some time maybe I can try and come up with some more area concepts, I reckon I could do that. I've had the underwater race on my mind, and what their environment would be like.

Definitely thinking that their city will be carved out of huge coral reefs and the like...

I was thinking that their buildings would be the exoskeletons of gigantic crustaceans. They live in a kind of harmony with these colossal undersea beasts.

Possibly even living inside the shell of a living creature?

Mmm.. perhaps a mixture of the two?

Just had a though - with the underwater environments would it be cool to make them 'massive' in the sense that between towns underwater there could be kilometers of generic ocean? (this would be different on small fragments of course). This would just give the feeling that you are in fact under the sea which is a massive place. You could just loop like shelfs and reefs or something but the way you would get from one place to another is ride on some kind of sea creature which moves fast through the water. Just a thought.

Given the nature of voxel graphics, I think large expanses of desert-like landscapes (such as underwater) will be quite easy to create and will look very convincing

I really like the idea of hitching a ride on a gigantic creature like a whale (with a kind of Titanic-esque luxury accommodation on its back) or a huge crab with a kind of transport-cabin in its shell
